Dr. Tejas Patel is the Recipient of the most prestigious Dr. B. C. Roy National Award by the Hon. President of India in recognition for his original contribution in development of a new technique in cardiology field. He is also the recipient of Dr. K. Sharan Cardiology Excellence Award in recognition for his original contribution in the field of cardiology of India. These are the two most prestigious awards of Medical Council of India (M.C.I.) and Indian Medical Association (I.M.A.). His name has also been listed in the 18th Edition of “Who’s Who in the World”.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani watched the world’s first tele-robotic coronary intervention surgery by Dr. Tejas Patel through Internet command from Akshardham here today on a woman patient 32-km away.
